Colour used with nerve, against Georgian bones.

The stair hall is turquoise. The dining room wears a floral bird paper with magenta underfoot and yellow silk at the windows, and the garden room carries a full spectrum of cushions along one white sectional.

The bones stay Georgian. Panelled cabinetry, herringbone and parquet floors, marble and nickel through the kitchen, the butler's pantry and the baths, so the colour reads as a decision rather than a cover.
